Research Notes

Initially entered as an abstract from an online source. The given name Isum in the abstract was a transcription error. The deed as seen in a scan of the pages of the original deed book clearly gives the name of the grantee as JANE REAVES. Every instance of the name recorded in the deed shows "Jane' and a female pronoun, i.e. "her" was consistently used in the deed.
