Transcript
This Indenture made this seventh day of September one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight Between Isaac Reaves of the County of Lunenburg of the one part and William Kelly of the same County of the other part Witnesseth that the sd Isaac Reaves for and in consideration of the sum of Fifteen Pounds currt. money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the sd Wm Kelly the Rct hearby he doth acknowledge hath this present day Bargained sold and delivered and by these presents doth Bargain sell make over and confirm unto the sd Wm Kelly his heirs Exrs Admrs or assigns one certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the aforesaid County of Lunenburg on the Branches of Mason? Creek containing one hundred and fifty acres more or less and Bounded as followeth viz. Begining at red oak on Daniel Marons Line Thence along his to part of a survey belonging to the Orphans of Nicholas Hobson Decd Thence along to the rear of a white oak. Thence up the road and meanders to a red oak thence a m? line of mark't trees to the Beginning. To have and to hold the above sold land and premise together with the reversion and reversions remainder and remainder unto him the sd Wm Kelly his heirs Exs adms or assigns against him the sd Isaac Reaves his heirs exs & adms and the said Isaac Reave for himself his heirs Exs and Adms doth covenant and agree to and with the sd Wm Kelly his heirs Exs adms or assigns that he the sd Isaac Reaves his Heirs Exrs & adms will warrant and forever defend the title of the above sold land and premises unto him the sd William Kelly his heirs Exs and adms and aginst the claim or claims of any other person or persons whatsoever.
