I Micajah Reeve of Northampton in the County of Burlington in the Western Division the province of New Jersey yeoman being in good Health and of sound and perfect disposing mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God therefore as for all other his mercies calling to mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed once to depart this Life Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament
Imprimis It is my will and I do hereby order that all my just debts and funeral charges be well and truly paid and satisfied by my executors hereafter named to be raised & levied out of my personal estate and the rents & rents profits of my lands, I also Will and Order that my executors or the survivors of them do put out my children to trades or otherwise to be brought up and educated in a Christian like and decent manner with as little expence to my estate as possible I also will and order that my executors or the survivors of them do lett out all my lands without any waste or destruction of timber utill my sons shall arive severally to their full ages to enjoy the same and also that my said Exrs or the survivers of them do sell and convey all the timber on that my half part of that piece of cedar swamp on atsion? which William Rogers & myself purcahsed of William Burr hereby ratifying and confirming their titles therefor
Item I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Ann Reeve my new case of drapes and all my feathers at my decease being loose feathers And I also will and order that my executors or the survivors of them do sell all the residue of my personal estate and after my just debts & funeral charges being paid I give & Bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of the moneys arising therefrom unto all my children male and female equally to be divided between them share and share alike also with the moneys arising from the sales of my cedar timber aforesaid
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Reeve and his heirs and assigns forever twenty acres of my land and plantation where I now dwell to be Divided off at the north east corner of my land adjoining to Jeremiah Haines and Henry Paxsons land and to run from the white oak corner to Jeremiah Haines in Henry Paxsons line then along Haines line so far as untill a line parralel to Paxsions line and to turn parralel to Haines line to Paxsons corner which was Cripp's shall contain seventy acres.
Item I give unto my son Caleb Reeve and to his heirs & assigns for ever twelve acres of my land at the north west corner of my Plantation where I now dwell to be divided from my son Thomas's Lott above devised on a strait line to Earl Shinns line to contain twelve acres as near at right angles as may be and also that fifteen acres meadow Ground lying on the south side of the North Branch of ancakees Creek adjoining to the lands of Thos Bispham and others.
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Abraham Reeve and to his heirs and assigns for ever All that fifty acres of land called the little Place lying adjoining to the land of Josiah White and my other Plantation and also five acres of land part of my Plantation where I now dwell adjoining to Jeremiah Hains's land and the land above devised unto my son Thomas and to be laid out as near square as may be
Item I give unto my son Nehemiah Reeve and to his heirs and assigns for ever all the rest residue and remainder of my land and Plantation where I now dwell he paying unto my three Daughters Ann Rebeckah & Vesti Reeve and to each of them the sum of twenty pounds current money of New Jersey when they shall each attain the age of twenty one years provided that if my son Nehemiah shall neglect or refuse to pay the legacies above said that then and in that case I will and order my Exrs or the survivors them to sell and convey such and so much of my said Plantation as should be sufficient to pay the same hereby ratifying and confirming their titles for the same
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Reeve and to his heirs and assigns forever that piece of pine land & Cedar Swamp lying at the Lower end of ? swamp at the north side of the lower end of Hison meadow
Item I give and bequeath unto my four sons Nehemiah Abraham Caleb & Thomas Reeve and each of their several and respective heirs & assigns for ever that my piece of cedar swamp lying above Thomas Coopers lot Cedwar Swamp & above the saw mill late of Josiah Haines & Joseph Ridgway and also that piece of Cedar Swamp ground which I purchased with Wm Rogers of William Burr lying at Alsins equally to be divided between them or the survivers of them share and share alike provided always and it is my will that if my sons Nehemiah should depart this life before he shall attain the age of twenty one years and without lawfull issue that them and in such case I give and bequeath all that the residue and remainder of my plantation above said unto my son Nehemiah I say I give and bequeath the same unto my son Abraham Reeve & to his heirs and assigns for ever. He paying thereout as above (?) for Nehemiah to pay And then and in such case the said Abraham Reeve shall grant or release unto my son Caleb and to his heirs & assigns forever All the fifty and five acres devised unto him the said Abraham Reeve and in case either of my said sons Caleb or Thomas shall depart this life before they shall attain the age of twenty one years & without issue lawfully that the and in such case I give and bequeath all the above mentioned estate devised unto them both I say I give and bequeath the same unto the survivors of them and to his heirs and assigns forever. And if my said son Abraham should depart this life before he attain the age of twenty one years and without lawful issue that then and in such case all the lands above devised him the said Abraham Reeve I give and bequeath unto my two sons Caleb & Thomas Reeve equally to be divided between them their heirs and assigns forever, share and share alike. And in case that any two of my sons should depart this life with out lawful issue then and in such case I give and bequeath all my real estate equally to be divided between the survivors of my sons their heirs & assigns forever share and share alike according to quantity and quality and I do hereby make and constitute and ordain my trusty friends Thomas Cooper & Joseph Mi? executors of this my last Will & Testament hereby ratifying allowing and confirming this and no other to be my last Will & Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eighteenth day of January one thousand seven hundred and seventy three

Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Micajah Reeve as his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us Samuel Runyan Jeremiah Haines John Burr

John Burr one of the Witnesses to the within will being one of the people called Quakers on his solemn affirmation doth declare and say that he was present & saw Micajah Reeve the testator in the within will named sign and seal the same and heard him publish pronounce and declare the within writing to be his Last Will and Testament and at the doing thereof he was of sound mind and memory as far as he knows and as he verily believes and that Samuel Runyan and Jeremiah Haines the other subscribing witnesses was also present at the same time and signed their names as witnesses together with this affirmant in the presence of each other and in the presence of the Testator
Affirmed at Burlington the 29th of April AD1777 before Robt Burck

The foregoing will being Prov'd Probate was granted by His Excellency Govr. Livingston unto Thomas Cooper and Joseph Mullen Executors in the said Will named being first sworn and Affirmed truly to perform the same exhibit a true inventory and render a true acct when thereto lawfully required Given under the prorogative seal the day and year aforesaid
