This Indenture made the eighteenth day of April in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy five Between John Crossby of the Township of Wellingborough in the County of Burlington in the Western Division of New Jersey and Jane his wife of the one part, and Henry Reeves of the Township of Evesham in the said County yeoman of the other part Whereas May Fenimore by her Deed dated the 12th day of May 1716 proved and Recorded in the Secretaries office at Burlington in Lib AC folio 397 Granted and conveyed unto Nathan Crosby a certain one hundred and five acres of land situate in Wellingborough aforesaid in which Deed is set forth a Recital of the Title as by the same Deed more fully appears. Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said John Crosby (as heir at law to his Father John Crosby also as heir to his uncle the said Nathan Crosby) and Jane his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Ten shillings current money of the said Western Division to them or one of them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged And the said Henry Reeves his executors and Administrators thereof forever acquitted have granted released and conveyed and by these presence do grant bargain release convey enfeoff and confirm unto the said Henry Reeves and to his heirs and assigns All his the said John Crosby's Right TItle Property and claim of in & to a certain lot of land part of the one hundred and five acres above mentioned and recited which lot of land is bounded as followeth Vizt Beginning at a white oak tree corner of land which was the said Nathan Crosby's now William Smiths then along the said Henry Reeves lands formerly Samuel Gaiwoods north eighty six degrees east fourteen chains and ninety links to a white oak corner to land which was John Rodmans by which it runs north fifty one degrees west six chains and ten links to a Black Oak then by said William Smiths land south eighty six degrees west nine chains and fifty links to a post near a hickory then south four degrees west four chains and twenty links to the corner first mentioned containing five acres Together with the minerals ways waters rights liberties priviledges hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging. To have and to hold the said five acres of land with all and every of the appurtenances unto the said Henry Reeves his heirs and assigns to the only proper use Benefit and Behoofe of the said Henry Reeves his heirs and assigns forever. And the said John Crosby for himself his heirs executors and Administrators doth covenant with the said Henry Reeves his heirs and assigns that he the said Henry Reeves his heirs and assigns shall and may peaceably and quietly hold occupy and enjoy the said five acres of land and premises with the appurtenances free and clear of and from all and every claim and claims made or to be made by the said John Crosby or of any other person or persons claiming or to claim by from or under him. In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have to this Indenture set their hands and seals dated the day and year first above written.

Be it Remembered that on the eighteenth day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy five 1775 Personally appeared before me Robert Smith one of the judges of the Court of Common Pleas for the County of Burlington John Crosby and Jane his iwfe the Grantors of the within Deed and did acknowledge they sealed and Delivered the same for the use and purpose therein mentioned And the said Jane being by me examined apart from her said Husband did acknowledge she executed the same freely and voluntarily without any threats or compulsion of her husband
