The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above-bound William Rose Administrator of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of Richard Reeves deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory...
William Rose the Administrator within named being duly sworn on the Holy Evangelist doth depose and say that Richrd Reeves died without any Will or Testament as far as he knows and as he verily believes; that he will well and truly Administer all and singular the Estate of the sd Richard Reeves which shall come to his knowledge or possession or to the possession of any other person or persons for his use, and that he will render a just and true account of his Administration

1st. Eleven pounds due for a Rifle by Colon. Wood of the 12th Virga. Regimt.
2nd Twenty one Dollars lodgd in the hands of Capt Andrew Waggoner the last time he was paid which was sometime in August last & 4 Months pay due by .. Waggoner
3d. One Blanket & one old course short
The underneath persons Being duly sworn did make oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they heard the Above Richd Reeves publickly declare William Rose of the sd Hospital to be his lawful heir & that the above articles he freely gave to him in case he should die there & Moreover that the said Reeves seemed to them in his proper senses Wittness our hands
William Trosque being duly sworn on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God deposeth and saith that he was present and heard Richard Reeves the person above named say that William Rose should at his (the sd Reeves's decease) inherit all the goods and Chattels belonging to him the sd Reeves, and that it was his will & desire that the sd Rose should at his the sd Reeves's decease have all the above named articles and at the doing thereof the sd Reeves was of sound mind & memory as far as this Deponent knows and as he verily believes and that James Letterel and Robt McDowell were present and heard the same together with this Deponent and Reuben Frost
