This Indenture made this sixth day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and ninety, Between Nicholas Cabell & Hannah his wife of the County of Amherst of the one part, and Robert Rives of the same County of the other part, WItnesseth that the said Nicholas Cabell & Hannah his wife, for & in consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds to them in hand paid by the said Robert, the receipt whereo they do hereby confess and acknowledge, have granted, Bargained & sold, aliened & confirmed, and by these presents do grant, Bargain & Sell, alien & confirm unto the said Robert Rives, one certain tract or parcel of land, lying & being in the County of Amherst & adjoining the Town of Warminster containing two acres and bounded as followeth, to wit, Begining at a stake corner of Lott No 36 in the town of Warminster, on the south side of the maine street & runing thence with the uper line of the said Lott South 23 1/2 west one hundred & five yards to a stake corner of said Lott, thence new Lines North 66 1/2 west ninety two yards to a stake, north 23 1/2 east oe hundred and five yards to a stake & S 66 1/2 East ninety two yards to the Beginning, and now in possession of the said Robert Rives, with all ways, easements & advantages appertaining to the said land, & also all the estate, right, title, interest, claim & demand whatsoever of them the said Nicholas Cabell and Hannah his wife, of, in, & to the same, To have & to hold the said land & appertenances aforesaid unto the said Robert Rives, his Heirs & assigns forever. And the said Nicholas Cabell & Hannah his wife the said Land & Appertenances to the said Robert Rives his Heirs and assigns, against them (the said Nicholas Cabell & Hannah his wife) their Heirs & all other persons will warrant & forever defend by these presents.
