This Indenture Made this 31st day of January 1791 Between Benjamin Mosley and James Maroney of the one part and Samuel Reeves of the other part Witnesseth that we the said Benjamin Mosley and James Marony for and in Consideration of the Sum of twenty nine pounds Lawfull money of the State of Georgia to them in hand paid by the said Samuel Rieves at or before the Sealing of these presents the reciept (sic) whereof we the said B Mosley and James Maroney do hereby acknowledge, Grant bargain sell and confirm unto the Said Samuel Rieves his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Plantation or Tract of Land Containing fifteen acres be the same more or Less Situate on the forth of Richland Creek a fork of Soap Creek in Wilkes County and State of Georgia Bounded as followeth begining on a Black Jack in Wm. Mosleys line thence along the said line too black Jack Corner thence along a Line of marked trees to a Black Jack in John Geers line thence along the said line to a post oak Corner, thence a long line of maked (sic marked) Trees to a hickory in James Yorks line thence along a line of marked Trees to the said Creek, thence down the said Creek to a Sasisfac (sic Sassafras) Stump on the Banks of sd. Creek thence to the Begining, And also all trees woods, ways waters and Appurtenances Whatsoever to the said Samuel Rieves his heirs and Assigns and to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Samuel Reeves his Heirs and Assigns forever and we the said B Mosley and Jas. Marony our selves, our heirs etc the said Tract of Land and every part and parcel to the said Samuel Rieves his Heirs and Assigns Shall and do warrant forever defend by these presents clear of all encumbrerances (sic) whatsoever, In Witness whereof we the said B Mosley and James Marony have hereunto set our hands and Seals the day and Year above written.his
