This Indenture made this 7th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred Between Frederick Rives of the County of Franklin of the one part and George Rives of the said County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Frederick Rives for and in consideration of the just sum of three hundred pounds current money of Virginia in hand paid doth this day grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said George Rives a certain tract or parsel of land lying in the said County on both sides of glade Creek a branch of Pigg River and bounded as followeth Viz., Begining on glade Creek on Burwell Rives's line at the mouth of a branch thence up the said branch to the head to Burwell Rives's corner thence partly north to the order line thence up said line west to the corner one the south side of lade Creek thence west partly south to the upper corner thence south to the Dividing line cornering on a chesmut thence down said line to the blue Rocks thence north to a Branch thence down the said Branch to Glade Creek thence down sd Creek to the begining on Burwell Rives's line and at the end of my life it is to be noticed the line from the Blie Rocks is to be Excluded down the dividing line to Burwell Rives's corner thence along his line to Glade Creek to the Begining, containing six Hundred acres to be the same more or less with all its Appertenances thereunto belonging and I do for myself my executors and administrators warrant and Defend the Rights and title of the sd land unto the sd George Rives his Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons Whatsoever as witness my hand and seal the day and Date above written
