In the name of God Amen I Susanna Graves do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

Item: I give and bequeath to my grand daughters Ann and Catherine Graves, to my grandson Zepheniah Graves, to my daughter Elizabeth Gratton, to my daughter Draden Graves and to my sons John Truman, James Bisco and Peregrine Graves and to my grand sons Hezekiah and Thomas Reeves and my grand daughter Rebecca Howard to my grand daughter Sarah Craig and to Susanna Craig and to my grand sons Reuben and Jesse Craig eighteen shillings and nine pence current money to be divided in the following manner. To Hezekiah and Thomas Reeves, one Shilling and Tenpence half penny, And to the heirs of Mary Craig one Shilling and Tenpence half penny. And to the heirs of Joshua Graves one Shilling and Tenpence half penny, and the balance to be equally divided between my sons and daughters above named. I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my property to be equally divided between my daughter Susanna Graves and my son Jessee Graves. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twelfth day of April Eighteen Hundred and one.

Signed sealed published and declared by Susanna Graves to be her Last Will and Testament in the presence of me who at her request and in her presence have subscribed my name as witness thereto.

On the back of the aforegoing was the following to wit.
Saint Marys County, the 1st day of April 1806. Then came Edward Smith the witness to the aforegoing last will of Susanna Graves late of Saint Marys County deceased and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that he did see the Testator therein named sign and seal this will and that he heard her publish, pronounce and declare the same to be her last will and Testament, that at the time of her so doing she was to the best of his apprehension of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding and that he subscribed his name as a witness to this will in the presence and at the request of said Testator.

Note

The Reeves grandchildren, Thomas W. and Hezekiah I., named in Susanna Graves' will are the sons of Thomas I. Reeves and are listed as legatees in his 1818 Charles County will.
