The State of South Carolina
Know all men by these presents that I James Nash Senr Planter of Pendleton District in the State aforesaid in consideration of One Hundred Dollars to me paid by Larkin Nash planter of the Sate and District aforesaid have Granted bargained Sold and Released . . . to Said Larkin Nash a certain tract or parcel of land containing by Estimation two hundred and thirty acres be the same more or less lying and being in Pendleton District and State aforesaid on Hen Coop Creek the same being part of 610 acre tract originally Granted to Thomas Tinkins on the 6 Day of June one thousand Severn hundred and Eighty . . . Witness my hand and seal this 29th Day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and two and in the 26th year of the United States of America.
