This Indenture made this (blank in original) day of September in the yeare of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & three between Elijah Reeve of Fleming County and State of Kentucky of the one part & Elisha Hill of the Same place of the other part Witnesseth that the said Elijah Reeve for and in Consideration of the sum of thirty pounds Current money of this State to him in hand paid by the said Elisha Hill the receipt whereof the said Elijah Reeve doth hereby Confess and acknowledge hath bargained and Sold and do by these presents grant bargain and Sell unto the said Elisha Hill and his heirs & assigns forever one certain tract tract (sic) or parcel of Land ~ containing by survey three hundred acres Situate lying & being in the aforesaid County on the on the waters of Foxes Creek being a part of thirty thousand acres patented in the name of Littleberry Moseby heir at Law to John Moseby Dec.d & also is a part of Lott No 11 one of the Lots of the aforesaid survey & bounded as to wit Bengining (sic) at William Marquits North East Corner two white oaks in the line ~ between No 10 & No 11 thence south two hundred and eighty poles to William Marquits South East Corner a buckeye and two sugar trees in the line between No 11 & No 12 thence along said line East one hundred and Seventy one and three Sevenths poles to two Sugar trees and a hickory thence north two hundred and Eighty poles to a black Gum black Oak and Black ash in the line between No. 10 and No 11 thence along said line West one hundred and Seventy one and three sevenths poles to the begining To have and to hold the aforesaid three hundred acres of Land with all the appurtenances to the said Elisha Hill and his heirs forever and the said Elijah Reeve for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators doth Covenant and agree with him the said ~ Elisha Hill and his heirs that him the said Elijah Reeve & his heirs will and Shall warrant and forever defend the aforesaid three Hundred acres of land with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the said Elisha hill, and his heirs and assigns forever from the Claim or him the Said Elisha Reeve and his heirs and all other persons or persons whatsoever Claiming or Pretending to claim any right title or Interest thereto In witness whereof the said Elijah Reeve hath to this Indenture Set his hand & afixed his seal the day and year first above written.

                                    I Joshua Stockton Clerk of said County being authorized by law by law (sic) to receive and admit to record in my office deeds and other writings do certify that this Indenture from Elijah Reeve to Elisha Hill was this day produced before me proved by the Oaths of Samuel Powel John Warrick and Stephen Powel Subscribing Witnesnses thereto and is duly recorded in my office Given under my hand this 29th day of November 1803
