James Chesher to William Reves a Deed 200 acresThis Indenture made this twenty third day of November Anno Domini one thousand Eight Hundred and four Between James Chesher of the County of Ashe and State of North Carolina and William Reves of the County & State aforesaid Witnesseth that he the sd. James for and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred pounds to him in hand paid by the sd. William Reves the Receipt whereof the sd. James Chesher doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfied and paid hath Granted Bargained Sold conveyed and by these presents doth fully Clearly and absolutely Grant Bargain Sell convey and Confirm unto the sd William his Heirs and assigns forever a tract of Land Supposed to be two Hundred acres lying in the County aforesaid on the South Side of New River Begining at a Chestnut tree at the mouth of a Branch runing thence --- Eighty Degrees East Down the Several meanders of sd. River to a Conditional line made Between sd James & sd William thence along sd line to a waggon Road then along the Road to Peter whittikers line thence to first Station With Every Right title privilege and Emolument to the sd Land Belonging or in any wise appertaining and the sd James doth bind himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators well and truly to warrant and forever Defend the aforesaid premises with all the appertainances (sic) to him the sd William his Heirs and assigns free and clear of all Incumberances (sic) whatsoever in witness whereof the sd James Chesher hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and Date above written
