Know all men by these presents that we Fredrick Grantham and Charity Grantham of the State and County aforesaid have this day Bargained Sold and delivered unto John Reaves of the aforesaid state and County One Negro girl by name Lyshe about four years old which Negro We warrant and forever will Defend all other Claim of Claims whatsoever to him the said John Reaves his heirs and assigns forever for and in Consideration of the sum of one Hundred and Eighty Dollars to me in hand paid by the aforesaid john Reaves In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our Seals this 26th Jany 1805
