Pursuant to an order of the Worshipful Court of the County of No.ampton to us directed to divide the Lands of John Reaves (sic) Decd. Between his orphans, We the Subscribers being appointed in Said Order have meet (sic) on the premises of the Said Decd’ and laid of Divided and Valued the Same as is above represented by the plat (see image of plat attached) and as follows Vizt, Lot Number one to Robert Reaves one Hundred and Sixty and half acres Valued to One Thousand three Hundred and Sixty four and a quarter Dollars and pays to Lot Number three Eighty Dollars and twenty five Cents Which Said Lot is Bounded as follows Begining corner Sweet Gum and Hicory Standing on the Bank of Roanoak River runing North Sixty Seven Degrees East one Hundred pole to a corner pine then North twenty Seven Degrees East one Hundred and Twenty Six pole to a corner pine then South twenty nine Degrees East Sixty six pole to a white Oak Standing in Mrs. Weaver’s field then with her line North forty two Degrees East thirty four pole to a pine still with her line No. thirty three Degrees East Sixty Six pole to John Lockharts corner pine and two Sweet gums then North Sixty and half Degrees West forty two pole to his corner white Oak Standing on the Side of the Road then with his line North Ninety pole to a corner white oak Saplin Standing in Said Lockharts line then with Polly Sikes line South fifty-five and half Degrees west three Hundred and fourteen pole to a white Oak and Hacberry Standing at the Mouth of a Small gut and on the River Bank then Down the meanders of Said River to the first Station ~Lot number two to Polly Sikes Valued to one Thousand three Hundred and Sixty four Dollars and twenty five Cents and pays to Lot Number three Eighty Dollars and twenty five Cents and Contains one Hundred and Sixty and half Acres & Bounded as follows Begining at Robert Rieves corner white oak and Hacberry Standing at the mouth of a Small gut and on the River Bank then with his line North fifty five and half Degrees East three Hundred and fourteen pole to his corner white Oak Saplin Standing in John Lockharts line then with his line North Eighty Six pole to the Center of a white Oak, post Oak, and Dogwood Henry Reaves’ corner then with his line South fifty three and half Degrees West three Hundred and Thirty two pole to the mouth of Tobacco grown a gut then Down the meanders of the River to the first Station ~
Lot Number three to Henry Reaves Valued to one Thousand and forty three Dollars and twenty five Cents and Receives from Lot Number one, two, and Six, two Hundred and forty Dollars and Seventy five Cents and contains one Hundred and Sixty and half acres and Bounded as follows Begining on the River at the Mouth of Tobo. Ground gut Polly Sikes’ corner Runing with her line North fifty three and half Degrees East three Hundred and thirty Two pole to Polly Sikes corner white Oak, Post Oak, and Dogwood, Standing in John Lockharts line then with his line North Seven pole to his corner white Oak Still with His line South Eighty four Degrees East one Hundred and Twenty Six poles to the center of three white Oak Saplins Lockharts Reaves and Melone’s corner then North thirteen Degrees East fifty five pole to Meachums corner pine Standing in a Branch then with his line North Eighty two Degrees west one Hundred and twelve pole to a corner pine Standing in Sd. Meachums Line and and (sic) Winney Reaves Corner then with her Line South Sixty and half Degrees west three Hundred and Seventy two pole to to (sic) her corner Sassiphras Standing on the Bank of the River then Down the meanders of Sd. Lot Number four to Winney Reaves Values to one Thousand two Hundred and Eighty four Dollars and contains one Hundred and Sixty and half acres and Bounded as follows Begining at Henry Reaves corner Sassiphras Standing on the Bank of the River Runing with his line North Sixty and half Degrees East three Hundred and Seventy two pole to a corner pine Standing in Meachums Line Henry Reaves corner then with Meachums line to the Run of the Round Head then along Down the Meanders of the Run to Thomas Reaves corner gum then with his Line South fifty Six and half Degrees west three Hundred & Six pole to a (blank) on the River Bank then Down the Meanders of the River to the first Station ~
Lot Number five to Thomas Reaves Valued to one Thousand two Hundred and Eighty four Dollars and contains one Hundred and Sixty and half Acres and Bounded as follows Begining at Winney Reaves Corner Standing on the Bank of the River Runing along her line North fifty Six and half Degrees East three Hundred and Six pole to her corner gum Standing in the Round Head Branch then Down the meanders of the Run to the Run Sd. Branch to Betsey Reaves corner pine then with her line South fifty one Drs. West two Hundred and forty Seven pole to her corner Sycamore Standing on the Bank of the River then Down the meanders of the River to the first Station
Lot Number Six to Betsy Reaves Valued to one Thousand three Hundred and Sixty four Dollars and twenty five cents and pays to Lot number three Eighty Dollars and Twenty five Cents and contains one Hundred and Sixty and half acres and Bounded as follows Begining at Thomas Reaves corner Sycamore Standing on the Bank of the River Runing with his line North fifty one Degrees East two Hundred and forty Seven pole to his corner pine Standing in the Round Head Branch then Down the Meanders of the Run to the fork then along the North Side of the Mill Pond until the course of North Seven Degrees west will Run to Seth Peebles corner pine on the Hill, then that course to his corner pine, then North Sixty Degrees west thirteen pole to a Sweet gum on the Run of the a Branch then up the Branch North three Degrees East Seventeen pole to Joseph Brassentons corner maple on the Sd. Branch and above a Spring then with his line North Eighty one and half Degrees west forty Six pole to his corner Red Oak Standing on the Road then up the Road and his line North thirty three and half Degrees west Sixty Eight pole to a corner pine Standing in Richard Fruar’s and Joseph Brasentons Line then along Eatons Haynes Line South Eight Degrees East one Hundred pole to a corner ash Standing on the Mill Mill Run then Down the Meanders of the Said Run untill it come to Eatons Hayns Line at a corner Sweet Gum then along his line South twenty Nine Degrees Wt. forty Eight pole to a Poplar Standing on the River Bank then Down the meanders of the River to the first Station ~
