(Abstract)
John Brown of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, 11 August 1810 sold land for 400 dollars to Josinah Garrison of York District, South Carolina, son-in-law...all that tract granted to Samuel Neeley in York District, South Carolina and conveyed by Samuel Neeley to my son Alexander Brown which has descended to me by heirship (300 acres)...60 acres by treaty (1763) to Catawba Indians leaving 240 acres (on Fishing Creek).

John Reeves made oath that he and James Garrison witnessed conveyance from John Brown to Josianah Garrison on August 11, 1810. Oath signed August 24, 1812.
