George Reeves of the County of Orange & State of North Carolina Give unto Martha Ivey Daughter of Milly Ivey of the County & State aforesaid & by these presents do fully & freely give Convey, Confirm, sett (sic) over unto her the said Martha Ivey her heirs & assigns for ever a certain piece or parcel of Land lying & being in Orange County aforesaid on the Waters of Buck fork being part of a Tract of Land of Two hundred & Ninety four Acres Originally Granted to John Macudent (?) - Begining at Thomas Lloyds Old Corner thence North Twenty chains to a Stake, thence East along a line of said Tract to a State on Loyds line of Another Tract, thence South Twenty five chains to Loyds Old Tract, thence North along the old line to a begining - Containing by Estimation forty Seven Acres, more or less: To have & to hold the said Forty Seven acres of land and all & singular the rights & priviledges Commodities, hereditaments & appurtenances, thereunto belonging or in any ways Appertaining unto her the said Martha Ivey her heirs & assigns forever in fee Simple further the said George Reeves for myself my heirs, Executors, Administrators & assigns do Covenant & agree to & with the said Martha Ivey to Warrent (sic) & defend the said Land & Tenement forever against the lawful claims or demand of any person or persons whatsoever In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this Second day of June in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred & twelve.
