Transcript
In the Name of God Amen I Isaac Reeve of the Town of Southold county of Suffolk and State of New York being weak in body but of sound disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner following. To wit:Imprimis, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah all my household furniture my hogs, meat in the house two cows she to have her election and all my corn grain and flax in the house or growing on the ground or wherever the same may be.
Second I give and devise unto my son Selah Reeve and to his heirs and assigns subject to such conditions and incumbrances as I may hereinafter specify and (?) all my buildings lands and meadows wheresoever situated excepting such parts thereof as I shall herein otherwise dispose of also one yoke of oxen, one horse, one two year old steer and all my farming utensills and carpenter tools.
Third I give to my GrandDaughter Pheobe Reeve one cow and to my Daughters Mary Wells and Charlotte Overton five Dollars each.
Fourth I hereby authorize and fully impower my Executors herein after named and the survivor of them to grant bargain sell and convey all my certain lot of land known by the name of Peter Halliocks land containing my estimation forty acres and bounded northerly by the land of Daniel Halliock, Easterly by Aldricks lane southerly by the country road and westerly by my other land also all my interest and share (being seven rights) in Cutchogue manor and I hereby direct and impower my said executors to give and execute to the purchaser or purchasers of the same good and sufficient conveyances in law with warranty of title in fee for the same and the monies to arise from the sale of the said lands with such monies as shall arise from the sale of my stock and other moveables not herein specifically devised together with all the monies due and oweing to me on Book, note, Bond or mortgage and money that I may die in possession of I give bequeath and direct as follows viz that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid therefrom and what shall remain thereof after such payments I direct my said executors to divide into seven equall parts or shares and to pay the same as follows to my grandson Isaac Reeve one share or seventh part to the other children and heirs of my son Isaac T. Reeve deceased one share or seventh part to my Grandson Isaac Wells Junr two shares or sevenths trusting and confiding in him that he will see the same justly applied in the manner which I have heretofore verbally directed to him to my Daughters Deborah Elizabeth and Eunice each one share or seventh all which monies I give and bequeath unto the above named persons and to their legal representatives in the proportions above specified to be paid to them severally or their legal representatives as soon as the same can be conveniently raised, collected and finally settled.
My will is that my Daughter Eunice so long as she shall remain single and unmarried, shall have the privilege of living in my Dwelling house and I hereby direct my son Selah during that time to provide for her as one of his family. To my said son I also give all wearing apparel.
Lastly I appoint my Friends John Reeve and Joseph Calbertson executors of this my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of October in the year of Christ one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.

Suffolk County } SS Be it Remembered that on the thirteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen personally appeared before Nicoll Floyd Surrogate of the said county James Reeve who being duly sworn on his oath declared that he saw Isaac Reeve sign & seal an instrument in writing purporting to be the will of the said Isaac Reeve bearing date the fourth day of October in the year of Christ one thousand eight hundred and fourteen (the preceding whereof is a true copy) and heard him publish and declare the same as and for his last will and Testament, that at the time thereof he the said Isaac Reeve was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of him the deponent that his name subscribed as a witness to the said will is of his own proper hand writing and that he saw Benjn Horton Junr and Benjamin S. Horton subscribe their names as witnesses thereto at the same time with him in presence of the Testator.
