This Indenture made and confirmed this fourth of September in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifteen between William Randle and Susana his wife of the State of Georgia and County of Greene of the one part and Irvin Reaves and Benjamin Colquett of the State and County aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that he the said William Randle and Susana his wife for and in consideration of the sum of seventeen dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and they themselves therewith contended paid and satisfied hath granted bargained sold and delivered and doth by these presents bargain sell set over and confirm to them the said Irvin Reaves and Benjamin Colquett them their heirs and assigns one certain tract or parcel of land being a part of that tract whereon George W Foster now lives Begining at a post oak corner of William Randle and Richard C Roystons tract thence N 70 W on said Roystons land 17 chains to a branch thence down the various mianders of the branch in a general direction of S 25 E (nearly) 22 chains to where William Randle's line crosses the branch thence N 25 E on said Randles line 12 C 50 links to a post oak the beginning containing five and a quarter acres be the same more or less together with all and singular the rights privilidges and appertenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to them the said Irvin Reaves and Benjamin Colquett their heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and he the said William Randle and Susana his wife doth further agree with them the said Irvin Reaves and Benjamin Colquitt that they will warrant and forever defend by these presents the aforesaid tract of land and premises to them the said Irvin Reaves and Benjamin Colquitt their heirs and Representatives free from the claim of them the said William Randle and Susana his wife or any person claiming by through or under him and also from the lawfull claim or petition of all and every other person or persons whatsoeverIn witness whereof we the said William Randle and Susana his wife hath hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals the day and year first above written
