This Indenture made this 9th day of October in the year of our Lord 1815 between Jeremiah Guin of the State of South Carolina Chesterfield District of the one part and Lewis Reaves of the County and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the sd. Jeremiah Guin for and in consideration of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained sold confirmed and conveyed unto him the sd. Lewis Reaves and to heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the state of North Carolina Anson County lying on the east side of Lanes Creek supposed to be one hundred acres being part of a tract of land that was granted to Enoch Deason Being the same land that William Deason formerly lived on Beginning on the north side of Lanes Creek on a pine corner on the lower line of said tract and runs up the several courses of said creek to Guins line then with Guins line to Eastwards corner of said tract to a pine corner then with Poes line to the beginning. To have and to hold the sd. bargained land and premises to him the said Lewis Reaves his heirs Exrs. and assigns forever to his own proper use and benefit and the said Jeremiah Guin do for myself my heirs Exors. Admrs. and assigns forever warrant and defend the above land and premises to the sd. L. Reaves his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date above written. Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of
