THIS INDENTURE made this Thirtieth day of November One Thousand Eight hundred & Eighteen between George Reeves Senr. of the State of North Carolina & County of Orange of the one part and George Reeves Junr. Of the County of the County & State aforesaid of the other part - Witnesseth that the said George Reeves Senr. for and in Consideration of the natural Love & affection which he hath and beareth unto the said George Reeves Junr. His Son hath given granted, aliened, & confirmed & by these presents doth give, grant, alien & confirm unto the said George Reeves Junr. A certain Tract or parcel of Land situate lying & being in the County of Orange and State aforesaid Containing One hundred acres, the Balance of the West End of a Tract of Land of Two hundred Acres & Eighty Acres Originally Granted to John Buckner and Conveyed by said Buckner to said George Reeves Senr. bounded on the north side by William L. Durham line on the west by Richard Stanfords line, on the South by Chatham County line, To have and to hold the said One hundred Acres of land & and all & Singular the Rights & priviledges (sic), Commodites hereditaments & appurtenances, thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining unto him the said George Reeves, his heirs & assigns forever, in Fee Simple further I the said George Reeves Senr. for myself my heirs, Executors, administrators & assigns do Covenant & agree to & with the said George Reeves Junr. To warrent (sic) & defend the said Land & tenement forever against the Lawful claim or demand of any person or persons whatsoever In witness whereof I the said George Reeves Senr. hereunto set my hand & Seal the day & date first above written -
