Georgia               }           Know all men by these presents that I Bennett Reeves of the County &
Wilkes County   }           State aforesaid for divers good causes, and more especially for the love & affection which I have and do bear to my daughter Sophia Reeves, do give and freely grant to my said daughter Sophia and her heirs the following property that is to say Bess a woman above forty five years of age, Liza her daughter about twenty years old and Jacob a Boy about twelve years old three Beds and furniture all my household & Kitchen furniture my Stock of Horses, Cows, and hogs; which property I hereby warrant I forever defend to her & her heirs subject to the following provision, that the said Sophia shall let the said Bennett Reeves and his wife Anna have the use or profit of said property during their natural lives for their support & maintainance (sic). In Witness whereof the said Bennett Reeves has hereunto Set his hand Seal this first day of January 1820.
