Georgia }Wilkes County } This Iindenture (sic) made this twenty sixth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Twenty between Tarleton Sheets of the one part and Bennet Reeves of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to me in hand paid by the said Bennet Reeves at and before the Sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted Bargained and sold & by these presents the receipt whereof (stricken through in original deed book) doth grant Bargain sell and release and confirm unto the said Bennet Reeves all that tract or parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the County and state aforesaid on the waters of newford Creek adjoining Joseph smith and others containing by estimation fifty acres more or less being the same tract or parcel of Land conveyed by William Binns and Tabitha his wife to Burwell Binns and after the decease of the said Burwell conveyed by his Administer (sic) Joseph Anthony to the said Tarlton Sheats Now therefore in consideration of the said sum of four hundred dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged The said Tarlton Sheats shall and by these presents will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid track of land and premises together with all and Singular the rights members and appurtainances (sic) thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said Bennett Reaves (sic) his heirs executors administrators and legal representatives forever In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my Seal this 26th day of June 1820
