I Joshua Stockton clerk of the Court for the County aforesaid Certify that this deed of conveyance from Elijah Reeves to William Tilson was on the 3d day of September 1821 produced in my office and proved by the oath of Samuel A V Tilson a witness thereto to be the act and deed of said Elijah Reeves and the same was this day fully proved by Samuel Tilson another witness thereto, to be the act and deed of said Elijah Reeves, and the same is duly recorded in my said office.
Given under my hand the 3d day of October 1821
Given that his wife is identified as Nancy, this apppears to be Elijah Jr.
. Since he is identified as of Fleming this appears to be a different Elijah from the so-called Elijah Reeves Jr. living in Scioto County, Ohio who deeded
land less than two months later. This also would determine which Elijah was the original recipient of this land in the 1815 deed
mentioned in this current deed.
