Division of the Negroes of Joel Reaves Deceased Registered 13th of April 1832}
State of Tennessee Maury County
We the underwritten subscribers appointed by the County Court of Maury to make division of the negroes of the Estate of Joel Reaves Deceased Between Wm. P. Smith in Right of his wife Sally formerly Sally Reaves and George W. Reaves only heir of said Deceased proceeded to divide said negroes agreeable to said order and have Alotted Sally and her child Sophia to the said Wm P Smith in right of his wife Salley and have alloted Charlotte & Green to the said George W Reaves minor heirs of said Deceased one a girl about seven the other boy about four years old and further say that the said Wm. P. Smith shall pay one hundred Dollars to George W. Reaves as the difference in value Between the said lottes of Negroes given under our hands and seals this 19th July 1821
