Transcript

This Indenture made the sixth day of July 1822 in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and twenty two. Between Spencer Reeves of the one part and William Luckey of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Spencer Reeves for and in consideration of five dollars to him paid by the said Wm. Luckey the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell deliver unto the said W Luckey his heirs and assigns a small lot of land containing three acres more or less situate lying and being in the County aforesaid in the Southwest corner of two tracts of land, the one granted to Spencer Reeves March the 15th 1787 and the other to Sarah his mother on the 14 day of October 1788 lying between a small branch running between said Reeves and Lucky and adjoining said Luckys land on the North East side agreeable to said plots. To have and to hold the said lot of land to the said Wm Lucky his heirs and assigns forever, and I the said Spencer Reeves doth hereby warrant and defend the said lot of land unto the said Wm Lucky his heirs and assigns against myself, my heirs Executors administrators or assigns firmly by these presents sealed with my seal the day and year first written
