This Indenture made this the twenty fifth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four. Between Asa Reaves of the County of Habersham and State aforesaid of the one part and Honer Cagle of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Asa Reaves for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirtyfive dollars to hi in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Honer Cagle his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Habersham but in the County of Franklin at the time of survey on the waters of Shoal Creek containing seventy acres more or less being a part of one hundred and fifty acre tract originally granted to Willis Seales beginning at a white oak running South 45 east twentyone chains seventy five links to a post oak corner thence 45 W 55 chains to a stake corner. Thence North 45° W19 chains to a stake corner thence 42° East 55 chain to the beginning. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto the said Honor Cagle her heirs and assigns. Together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to her and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple, and the said (9Reeves_Asa_4270|Asa Reaves)) for himself his heirs executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Honor Cagle her heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against myself my heirs and assigns.
