This Indenture made the first day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Six between Lemuel Thompson (sic Thomasson) of the one part and B. D. Thompson (sic Thomasson) of the other part. WITNESSETH Whereas Lemuel Thompson (sic Thomasson) stands indebted to the said B. D. Thompson (sic Thomasson) in the sum of Four Hundred and Ninety Seven Dollars, Now this Indenture Witnesseth that Lemuel Thompson (sic Thomasson) for and in consideration of the said Debt or sum payable as aforesaid to the said B.
