1826 Deed - Benjamin Rives to Turner

Know all men by the presents that I Benjamin Rives of York District in the State aforementioned in consideration of the sum of Twelve Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by Eaton B. Turner the State and District aforesaid have granted bargained Sold and released and these presents do grant Bargain Sell and Release unto the Said Eaton B. Turner Two Tracts on Plantation of Benjamin Rives of which was originally granted to Isaac Smith containing One Hundred Acres the other was originally granted to Samuel Lark (? Lusk?) by a North Carolina Grant containing Eighty Six acres the above mentioned tract of land by assigning Each other and - Eighty acres. Also one other tract or parcel of land containing fourteen and three acres District aforesaid on waters of Stony Fork of Fishing Creek and may be found by running as follows (viz) Beginning on a Walnut Tree...Together with all and singular the Rights - and appurtenances to the previous before mentioned and the said Eaton B. Turner his heirs and assigns for such - hereby bind myself my heirs Executors and Administrators to Warrant and forever defend all such - the said presents unto the said Eaton B. Turner his heirs and assigns against myself and my heirs and against Every person Whomsover lawfully claiming as to claim the same or any part thereof. Witness my hand and Seal this Sixteenth day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Six in the fifty first year of the Sovereignty and Independence of the United States of America.
