This Indenture made and concluded on this 22nd day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty sev? between John Reaves of the County of Maury and State of Tennessee of the one part and Evan Levestay of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Reeves for and in consideration of the sum of eighty Dollars to him in hand paid by the said Evan Livesay the right whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and delivered to the said Evan Livesay his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Maury and State aforesaid and on the waters of Draw? Creek a north branch of Duck River beginning twenty two poles west of the south east corner of a certain tract of land containing 45 acres entered in the name of John Randolph at a stake and beach thence running west twenty eight poles to a stake and beach thence running north sixty poles to a beach thence running east forty five poles to a beach and hickory on a ridge thence running with the ridge to the beginning supposed to contain twenty nine acres and forty poles be the same more or less the right whereof the said John Reeves doth warrant & forever defend against any lawful claim or claims whatever.
