In the name of God Amen I Jo Ann S. Reeves of the town of Goshen single woman, considering the uncertainty of human life and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be God for the same, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say - It is my will and I do hearby direct my executrix hear after named to pay all my just debts and funerall charges, out of my personall estate - In the next place I give and bequeath to my beloved mother Nancy Reeves a certain Bond executed to me by my brother James C. Reeves for the sum of one thousand Dollars and I also Give and bequeath to her A Note of hand executed by the aforesaid James C. Reeves for the amount f seventy dollars - In the next place, I give unto my sister Sarah M. Hudson all the remainder of my personal estate - In the last place I hearby constitute and appoint my said mother Nancy Reeves executrix to this my last will and testament in testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 11th day of June 1829. Signed sealed published and delivered by the above named testatrix to be her last will and testament in presence of

Orange County SS: Be it remembered that on the first day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine, before Mr Daniel H. Tuttill Surrogate of the County of Orange personally appeared Emeline Benjamine, who being duly sworn did depose and say, that she was present and did see Joann S. Reeve deceased execute the paper instrument then shewn unto her, and of which the preceeding is a true copy, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of the said deceased, and did hear her, publish and declare the same as and for her last will and testament - that at the time of the execution thereof she the said deceased was of a sound disposing mind and memory, to the best of her the deponents knowledge and belief and that she the deponent did subscribe her name thereto as a witness at the request and in the presence of the testatrix
Orange County SS: Be it also remembered that on the same first day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine, before me the said Surrogate personally appeared Nancy Reeve the executrix in the said will named and was duly sworn to the faithful performance and execution thereof by taking the usual oath in that case provided.
The preceding is a true copy of the original will of Joann S. Reeve deceased, the certificate of the proof thereof the certificate of the due qualification of the executrix therein named and the letters testamentary thereon
