KNOW all men by these presents that I, John U. Reeves of he County of Prince William and State of Virginia for and in Consideration of the natural love and affection which I bare to Albert Duvall & Nancy Duvall, the Children of Nancy Duvall, all of the County and State aforesaid as well as for the further consideration of One dollar to me in hand paid by the Said Albert Duvall & Nancy Duvall, at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt is hereby acknowledged have given and granted and by these presents do give, and grant, unto the Said Albert Duvall, & Nancy Duvall, their executors administrators and assigns two Mares and one Roan Coult, one Cow and Calf, one Bead and Furniture one Cart and geer, and one Chist (sic Chest) and ten Hogs. To have and To hold the Said Mares and the other above named property unto them the Said Albert Duvall, & Nancy Duvall, their Exers. Administrators and assigns forever. And the Said John U. Reeves, for himself his Exer.s Administrators, give the Said property unto the Said Albert Duvall & Nancy Duvall, their Exers. Administrators and assigns against the claim of him the Said John U. Reeves, his Exers. And Administrators and against the Claim or Claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever, Shall and will warrant and forever defend them by these presents. Clerk’s Office March 29th, 1830 This Deed of Gift from John U. Reeves, to Albert & Nancy Duvall, was acknowledged by the Said John U. Reeves, to be his act and deed and ordered to be recorded.
