This Deed of Bargain and Seale made this twenty ninth day of July one thousand eight hundred and thirty Between Drury Reaves of Telfair and Samuel Brown of Irwin County Both planters of the State of Georgia Sheweth that the said Drury Reaves for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the said Saml Brown at the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said Saml Brown his heirs and assigns forever two certain tracts or parcels of land near on the oakemulgee river in the county of Irwin aforesaid the one being a Fractional survey lying in the first dist of said County No 180 and contains forty one acres the other being part of lot No 178 in said first district aforesaid and supposed to contain one hundred and ninety five acres on the northwestern side of said lot be the same more or less beginning on the Oakemulgee river at a lightwood post and Running across said Lot a southwest corse to a lightwood post on the north & south line to have and to hold the said two lots or parcels of land as above described unto the said Saml Brown his heirs and assigns forever and the said Drury Reaves for himself and for his heirs and for all and every other persons or persons whatsoever the right and title of the aforesaid lots of land with all their appertainances shall warrant and by these presents forever defend against all in cumberances whatsoever in witness whereof the said Drury Reaves hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.
