In the name of God amen. I James Reeves of the town of Palmyra, county of Wayne and State of New York, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say,first I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mehitabel Reeves one third of all my real and personal estate after the debts and legacise are paid, so long as she shall remain my widder - I also give unto my daughter Phebe Reeves one hundred dollars, and one cow, one bead and clothing for the same and a privelidg to live in my now dweilling house so long as she is unmarried. I also give unto my foure daughters Polle Terry, Nancy Foster, Fanne Swezy, Amarida Clark the sum of five dollars each. I also give unto my son Stephen Reeves one hundred dollars to be paid out of my estate. I give unto my son Lyman Reeves all my first devision of land maid with Elias Reeves, excepting fifty rods south from the north line to run crose the said lot - also give unto Lyman Reeves one devision of land lying in said lot, bounded north by land of William Rowley, south by land of Elias Reeves, west by the line of said lot, east by a road and the line of lot no. six. I give unto my son James Reeves the two marsh lots and also that fifty rod, runing south thence runing parelel cros the lot also I give unto Lyman Reeves and James Reeves all my right and title to the saw mill to be ? between them. And I do also hereby appoint Lyman Reeves and James Reeves my sons sole executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me maid - In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenth third day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one.
Signed, sealed published and declared by the above named James Reeves to be his last will and testament in the presents of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator.
