This Indenture made and entered into this 30th day of April 1833 between Nancy Doolin Abner Davis & Sarah his wife Archibold Doolin Harrod Doolin Geo Doolin John Doolin Danl Doolin & Delila Doolin of Butler Cty and State of Kentucky of the first part and Jesse J Lee of the County & State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that whereas the afsd Nancy Doolin &c for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred and twenty four Dollars to them in hand pd the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the party of the second part a certain tract or parcel of land lying & being in Butler Cty in the Bend of Green River Beginning at a sugartree & hackbery (sic) on the bank of the River corner to Jesse J Lee thence with sd. Lees line S100 poles to a poplar red oak thence S70 E55 poles to two white oaks and poplar in Reeds line thence N44 E140 poles to a beech sugartree & mulberry on the bank of Green River Reeds upper corner then up the River the meanders thereof 158 poles to the Beginning To have and to hold unto him the party of the second part his heirs &c forever and the aforesd party of the first part doth covenant and agree to and with the party of th second part that they will now and at all times hereafter Warrant and defend the right & title of sd land and premises unto him his heirs &c forever against the claim of them the sd party of the first part their heirs &c and all other persons whatever In Witness whereof the party of the first part hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above writtenTest Wm E Dixon Archibold Doolin (Seal)
