Transcript

This is the last Will and Testament of me James Reeves of the city of New York
First I will order and direct that all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses be fully paid and satisfied. I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Rosehannah all my real estate and all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or sort soever that I shall die possessed of or entitled to absolutely to and for her use behoof and benefit and to be at her disposal by will or otherwise as she thinks proper during her life time and I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Rosehannah sole executrix of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking annulling and making void all former and other will and wills by me at any time heretofore made.
In witness whereof I the said James Reeves the testator have hereunto set and put my hand and seal this fourteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and thirty seven.
