Transcript

I Benjamin Reeve of the township of Evesham in the County of Burlington and State of New Jersey being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say
First it is my will and I do order all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease
Second I give and bequeath unto my sister in law Elizabeth Ann Reeve fifty dollars
Third I give and Bequeath the residue of my personal and real estate of any to my Brothers William Reeve Mahlon Reeve and my five sisters namely Elizabeth Haines Sarah Ann Reeve, Martha Campian, Esther Reeve and Mary Reeve, also my Brother John Reve deceased children namely Sarah Reeve and Hellen Reeve equal portions share and share alike except my Brother Johns two children namely Sarah and Helen they taking only one share and that to be equally devided between them and in case either of them should die before they shall arrive to the age of eighteen years the survivor to have the deceased sisters share - O also order my executor hereafter named to place at interest the portion of my two nieces namely Sarah Reeve and Hellen Reeve and to pay to them or the survivor of them, when they shall arrive to the age of eighteen years the amount that may be due them after settling up the same and being allowed a reasonable sum acct of the same for having managed and taking care of the same - It is also my will that my share of the lots and houses sold by the administrators of John Reeves deceased which was purchased by William Reeve Mahlon Reeve & myself at the said sale and for which the said Administrators have made us deeds for they shall account to their sisters and to my executors for the shares of my two nieces proceeds of the same and no ore - of such sale of said property
And lastly I hereby appoint my trusty friend James Rogers executor of this my last will and testament

Richard H Lippincott one of the witnesses to the foregoing will, alleging himself to be conscientously scrupulous of taking an oath and being duly affirmed according to law did declare and say that he saw Benjamin S Reeve the Testator therein named sign and seal the same and heard him publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument to be his last will and testament that at the doing thereof the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory as far as this affirmant knows and as he verily believes and that Samuel S Wills and George Snyder the other subscribing witnesses were present at the same time and signed their names as witnesses to the said will together with this affirmant in the presence of the said testator
