Transcript

I Hannah Reeves of the township of Northampton in the County of Burlington State of New Jersey, being of a sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following
First. It is my will and I order and direct that all my just debts, and funeral expenses be fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease
Second. I give and bequeath to my two daughters Beulah Chapman and Ann Eastbourn, all my wearing apparrel, ad my silver plate to be equally divided between them
Third. I hereby order and direct that my executor hereinafter named place at interest on good and safe security the sum of fourteen hundred dollars and collect the interest annually and pay one half the said interest to my daughter Beulah Chapman and the other half to my daughter Ann Eastbourn, yearly and every during their lives
Fourth. All the rest residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal, I give, devise, and bequeath to my children Biddle Reeves, Beulah Chapman, Ann Eastbourn, Joel Reeves, & Robert Reeves, and my grandson Joel Reeves, son of my son Josiah deceased, to be equally divided between them. And upon the decease of my said daughter or of either of them, I direct the principal producing the interest herein directed to be paid to such deceased to be equally divided among the other residuary legatees the children of such of the other residuary legatees as may be deceased to have their parents share.
Fifth And Lastly. I nominate and appoint my son Robert D Reeves executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all former wills by me made
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of the seventh month in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six.

Amos Bullock one of the witness to the within will, declaring himself to be conscientiously scrupulous of taking an oath and being duly affirmed did declare and say that he saw Hannah Reeves the testatrix therein named, Sing and Seal the same, and heard her publish, pronounce, and declare the within writing, to be her last will and testament; and that at the time of the doing thereof, the said testatrix was of sound and disposing mind and memory, as far as he knows, and as he verily believes; and that Elizabeth S Bullock and William S Bullock the other subscribing evidences were present at the same time, and Signed their names as witnesses to the said will, together with this affirmant in the presence of the said testatrix
