This Indenture made this the first of March in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred & forty seven between Henry N. Reeves of the one part & Allen Jones of the other part both of the County & state aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said Henry N. Reeves for and in consideration of the Sum of two hundred & fifty dollars to him in hand paid by the said Allen Jones at and before the Sealing & delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged doth bargain grant & sell unto the Said Allen Jones his heirs & assigns one hundred & twenty five acres of land Situate & being in the fifth Dist of originally Gwinnett County & state aforesaid but now Walton it being the north west half of lot number three hundred & fifty two bounded on the East by line running by James Harbuck in a Survey setting off the balance of said lot Sold to Seaborn C. Burson on the Sixteenth day of February Eighteen hundred & forty two
To have & to hold Said tract or parcel of land with all the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Allen Jones his heirs assigns etc. to their own proper use benefit & behoof in fee simple for himself the said Henry N. Reeves his heirs & assigns will warrant & forever defend the right & title to said premises unto the said Jones his heirs & assigns against the claim or all other persons whatsoever.

Note: The land sold in Walton is stated to originally have been part of Gwinnett. A portion of the 5th District is now in Walton as part of a land swap between Gwinnett and Walton counties.
