In the name of God amen, I Frederick C. Geer of the County of Wake and State of North Carolina being feeble in body but Sound and perfect in mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following.

First, I give and bequeath unto my brother Jesse B. Geer a negro man named Pike, and I--en and my negro woman named Siller, and a girl named Mary, with all their increase to him and his proper heirs forever. Secondly, I give and bequeath unto my beloved nephew Frederick C. Geer the following negroes viz) Sol a man Martha a girl and Aggy a woman with all their increase to him and his heirs forever.

Thirdly, I give unto Romulus Rottenbury two hundred dollars to be paid to him by my Executors.

Fourthly, I give unto Deborah Humphreys fifty dollars to be paid to her by my Executors.

It is my will and desire that all my stock of every kind, all my household and kitchen furniture, together with all other property belonging to me not mentioned in this my last will and Testament - be sold by my Executors, and the money arising therefrom after paying all my just debts be equally divided between my brother Jesse B. Geer, and my nephew Frederick C. Geer. It is my desire that my brother Jesse B. Geer be the Executor of this my last will and Testament made and published this the 5th day of November in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and forty eight.
