Commentary

Abraham was Edward's son by his wife Sarah Hind Reeves (nee Row) whose death was registered in 4q1849. Edward then married Alice Walker Williams.

Prior to the 1861 census Thomas Reeves Edward's son also named Edward Reeves had moved to premises at the other end of High Street, Lewes and was to found a photographic studio at 159 High Street, which is still in existence today (November 2014) and run by one of the original founders great-grandsons.
