Commentary

Susannah is one of five widows living in this group of Almshouses on the 1851 census. A sixth property is shown as unoccupied.

The 1861 census identifies Susan(sic) Reeves as living at Blechynden's Almshouses on Winchester Street, which are still in existence today, although now divided into three units.
