In the name of God amen. I John Reeves of the County of Taylor and State of Kentucky being of sound mind and memory do constitute and adafit this my last will and testimony as follows towit: At the death of my self and wife Catharine Reeves I give to my son John Reeves all my estate that I may die ? of real personal and mixed. And it is my further will and desire that my said son shall live with me and take the management of all my property and support myself and wife during our lives, as to debts I owe none. And it is my further will and desire that balance of my children shall have none of property that I now own they having had their full portion that I wish them to have. The names of my said children that have their full portions are as follows Thornberry Reeves who is now dead it is my will and desire that the heirs of said son Thornberry Reeves shall have no none of my property Susan Skaggs the wife of William Skaggs, Rebecca Woods the wife of Levi Woods, Henderson Reeves, Mildred Heuber the wife of James Heuber, Ruth Hash the wife of John Hash, Nancy Ruark the wife of Elisha Ruark are my children who have had their full portions of my estate.

Set At a County Court Commenced and held for Taylor County at the Court House in the Town of Campellesville on the 13th day of March 1854, the forgoing last will and testament of John Reeves Deceased was produced into Court and the same was proven by the oaths of George W. Fowles and Robert P. Shofner the two subscribing witness thereto to be his act and deed as his last will and testament. And at the time of signing the same they believed him to be in his proper mind and memory and the same was ordered to be recorded. Whereupon the same and this certificate are duly recorded in my office. Given under my hand May 5th 1854 - A.F. Gowdy Clerk
