Suffolk County SS Be it known that at the County aforesaid before the Surrogate of the said County, on the seventh day of March 1855 the last will and testament of Anson Reeve deceased was duly proven as a valid will of real and personal estate which will and the proof thereof taken are as follows viz
In the name of God Amen I Anson Reeve of the town of Southold in the County of Suffolk and State of New York being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will and testament that is to say
First After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged I give and bequeath to my mother Elizabeth Reeve five acres of land lying to the south of my dwelling and bounded on the west by the highway & the east by Edward Reeve on the north and on the south my the land of my mother Elizabeth Reeve together with four thousand dollars in money. All the rest and residue and remainder of my property of what kind soever I give and bequeath to my nephew Thomas Edward Reeve - Likewise I make constitute and appoint my mother Elizabeth Reeve executrix and my friend Henry Pike executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the twenty third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty four

The above instrument was subscribed by the said Anson Reeve in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us and he at the same time declared the above instrument so subscribed to be his last will and testament and we at his request have signed our names as witnesses hereto and written opposite our names our respective residences
