In the name of God, Amen.I Samuel Reeves of the City of Abingdon County of Knox and State of Illinois, being of sound mind and memory do make & publish this y last will and testament in manner following viz.
First I give and bequeathe to my wife Susana Reeves all my estate Real and personal during her natural life, she paying my legal debts At her death sd property to be disposed of in the following manner:
To my daughter Elizabeth Reeves my house and lot in the City of Abingdon, also the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars. To my daughter Martha Hughey, one hundred and fifty dollars. Then the balance of my property to be equally divided between my three children, viz. Elza Reeves Elizabeth Reeves and Martha Hughey.
I hereby appoint my wife Sole executrix of this my last will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 9th day of February A. D. 1866.

In Probate, February Term, A. D. 1866 Personally Appeared in Open Court, C Springer and W Stewart subscribing witness to the foregoing instrument of writing, purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Samuel Reeves late of Knox County, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law, do depose and say, each for himself, that the foregoing is the Last Will and Testament of the said Samuel Reeves deceased; That they subscribed their names thereto as the attesting witnesses at the request of the Testator and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, on the ninth day of February A. D. 1866. That he then and there subscribed his name thereto in their presence, and declared the same to be his Last Will and Testament; and that the said Testator at the time of executing the same as aforesaid was of full age, of sound mind and memory, and under no constraint.
