Page 237 notes Charles Edward REEVES as a Lieutenant currently serving with the 1st Battalion of the 3rd (East Kent) Regiment of Foot (The Buffs).

He has 9 year service on full pay. He purchased his commission as Ensign 18 March 1862 and purchased his commission as Lieutenant on 2 May 1865.

The 1st Battalion is currently serving in Seetapore, Bengal, having embarked for Calcutta on 24 July 1866.
