I, David Reeves, of Marshall County Kentucky, being of sound mind, this day make my last will and testament – as follows.
First: I give to N. V. Smith and wife Izora Smith one life policy of one thousand dollars in the Illinois Life Insurance Company of Chicago Ill. Also to the said N. V. Smith and wife Izora Smith two shares of the Capital Stock of the Bank of Benton.
Second: I will that the remainder of my estate, after all my debts are paid and a suitable monument placed at my grave, be equally divided among my brothers and sisters, or their heirs.
I name my brother James Reeves and John G. Lovett, executors to carry this will into effect with full power to transfer the Bank Stock to the parties named in the first item. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this the 3rd day of January 1907.

Marshall County § I J. N. Henson Clerk of the County Court of said County do certify that the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last true will and testament of David Reeves deceased was on Monday June 3, 1907 produced in open court and proven by the oath of J. W. Reed one of the subscribing witnesses thereto who made oath to the signature and acknowledgment of the testator David Reeves to be his last will and Testament and also t his own signature and the attestation of J. D. Mathis the other subscribing witness hereto in presence of each other and in the presence of the testator David Reeves at his request which will was ordered probated and to be admitted to record as such wherefore the same and this certificate have been duly recorded in my office.
