DNA Group 06 - Tested Lines
Due to the genetic distance between the various lines within DNA Group 06, the group has been divided into four separate subgroups with individuals whose matches indicate a relatively recent common ancestor. - DNA Group 06A - These lineages descend from George Reeves, Sr. of Grayson County VA and William Reeves, Sr. of Wake County NC whose descendants' DNA suggests that they share an unknown common ancestor.
- DNA Group 06B - Earliest proven ancestor of most of these participants is John Durdan Reeves of Halifax County NC.
- DNA Group 06C - Isaac Reeves of Wilkes County NC is the earliest proven ancestor of several of the participants.
- DNA Group 06D - No common ancestor has currently been identified for these participants.
