The Current Story for Group 11
DNA Group 11 actually lacks sufficient Y-DNA results to identify deep ancestry since the three members of this group only match on the 12 marker test which is not a credible identifier of kinship.For the one member who has done tests up to 111 markers, the primary matches are to another surname and appear to indicate lineage from a Patterson individual in 18th century South Carolina.
Much research is necessary for all three members of this group as well as possible upgrades of DNA testing to 37 Markers in order to make any valid conclusions.
