The Current Story for Group 18
The two members of DNA Group 18 match each other on 23 of 25 markers at FtDNA contrary to previous information posted here. FtDNA is currently only showing them as matches at 12 markers which is not a credible identifier of kinship but in the classic colorized chart of matches between members of Group 18, their results are shown as matching on 23 markers.The members of this group require much conventional research to identify the source of their connection.
