Reeves Y-DNA Project Updates - February 2004 [2]
Originally notified to the Reeves-L mailing list by the late Beulah Reeves McCain on 15 February 2004 (accessed April 2019) and reformatted for inclusion here.
The big day is finally here. The Reaves, Reeves, Reves, Rives, Ryves DNA program and web page is up and running.
This is an important step in finding our true lines. We need everyone that can to participate. If you are female, ask your brother or a male cousin to join. I know we have some subscribers to the list that live in England, New Zealand and Australia and other countries, we hope you will join us also. The FtDNA can send you a kit or if you prefer to have it done in your country then you can send your results to David.
First, let me say Barry Reeves has done a beautiful job in getting the web page done. David Leroux has worked equally as hard setting up the DNA program and getting the web page up with the FtDNA site. We do appreciate all of their hard work. They will continue to work as the results come in and is posted on the Reeves Web page. Once you have signed up you will receive a number and a password where you can access your progress. But it will take 5 to 6 weeks for that results to come in. We already have two that have signed up.
This is open to everyone but only the number that is assigned to you by FTDNA will be posted on the web page.
You can access the Reeves web page via this TRP Page
If you have questions please post them to the List, there are others that might have the same questions.
Let's all work together on this project to make it a big success.
